I’m Megan

I am a natural observer, nature nerd, collector of rocks and old bones, gardener, amateur explorer, sourdough starter caretaker, dog walker, and believer in the power of a long road trip.

I feel my job as a photographer is to observe what unfolds naturally, including the sometimes over looked mundane moments that hold the richest signs of life. Seemingly ordinary but wildly authentic moments that are impossible to replicate inorganically. I find the most joy capturing the beauty in the unplanned, authentic human experiences, connections and emotions. A want my photos to tell a story or transport you back to how it felt.  

I believe a good picture can be taken on any camera.I shoot 35mm film, Polaroid, DSLR, and iPhone. What ever gets the job done, really.

Based in Chicago, Illinois, always willing to travel.
